Wisdom Tooth Surgery

3rd Molar Panorex

Wisdom teeth are the third and final set of molars that most people get in their late teens or early twenties. Sometimes, wisdom teeth can be a valuable asset to the mouth when healthy and properly aligned, but often they are misaligned and require removal.

Sometimes your wisdom teeth can become impacted (misaligned or trapped in the jaw) and not develop properly in the mouth. Impacted wisdom teeth can lead to pain, swellings, infections, cysts or damage to the adjacent teeth.

During the consultation, Dr. Goubrial will discuss all the options, risks, costs and questions you may have related to your procedure. Depending on the case, the procedure can be performed under local anaesthetic or under general anaesthetic at the local hospital.

If your procedure is performed at a local hospital, it is usually a day surgery and you will be discharged on the same day.
